THE CHARACTERS:
Rudolph Gall a.k.a. MR ACTION, played by Ethan Wolfe.
Rudolph, or “Rudy”, works as a security guard at the local movie theater. He has a passion for justice and sparks the idea to don costumes and fight crime after gaining his own powers of super strength. He serves as the moral compass of the group and rarely sways from his ideals. He is strong-willed and bull-headed at times but a stalwart companion no matter what.
Finnius Bosse a.k.a. MR TRICK, played by Brian Lewis
Finnius, or “Finn”, works as a editor for the local Milton newspaper, though he has much grander dreams. He sees opportunity to pursue those dreams when he gains the ability to command people’s actions through words alone. However, this causes some contention between him and his best friend Rudy as they try to define themselves as Super-heroes in the city of Milton.
Jason Raymus a.k.a. MR BAFFLE, played by Brandon Jared
Jason works as a librarian at Milton University. Though he only works as a glorified stock boy, he has a mind capable of outmatching any of the students or professors there. As the calm, cool, and charming member of the group he sports the only girlfriend, Gwen Simmons and is the most grounded to reality. But his world is turned topsy-turvy when he discovers the ability of telekinesis. As a super-hero he lacks the confidence and stability that he finds in real life, which he must learn to balance on a daily basis.
Toby Simmons a.k.a. MR NOWHERE, played by Mark Burton
Toby Simmons is a recently unemployed young man with a profound passion for all things geek. He is the young brother of Gwen, Jason’s girlfriend, and the heart and the soul of the Do Gooders. Though he isn’t the brightest member of the group he truly shines as his alter ego Mr. Nowhere, even though he’s invisible.
Gwen Simmons, played by Jen Page
Gwen is in school at Milton University to become a nurse. Though she is not especially geeky herself, as Jason’s girlfriend and Toby’s older sister, she has learned to embrace their nerdier side. At first uninformed of their escapades into super-hero-dom, she begins to notice that things aren’t quite right with “the boys”.
One Step, played by Philemon Vanderbeck
A rash of murders has swept across the city of Milton, each of them at the hands of the super-powered killer known only as “One Step”. Over a century old, One Step has the ability to draw the life from those he kills aided also by his ability to transport himself through shadows at will. As a big player in Milton City villianry, when he turns his sights on the Do Gooders, they soon learn they’re in way over their heads.
